What do I need to qualify for Amazon’s API?
In order to qualify for the Amazon API (and fetch Amazon data) your Amazon Associates account must have had at least 10 individual orders (not just 10 products sold) in the past 30 days. A single order with multiple items only counts as one order. If you don’t meet this threshold, API requests will be denied by Amazon.
What if I don’t qualify for Amazon’s API yet?
You can still use WP Wolfborn Loot with the Custom Products feature. Add products manually from any non-Amazon affiliate network, and our AI will auto-insert them across your site. You can also manually add links to Amazon products throughout your website with shortcodes. Once you meet Amazon’s 10-order threshold, you can then start using Amazon’s API inside of the plugin.
Does this plugin work with page builders?
It depends. The plugin requires your blog posts to be written using the WordPress classic editor, Gutenberg editor, or uploaded using an AI writer such as ZimmWriter. It will not work if your blog posts were built using a page builder. But if only your homepage, about us page, category pages, etc., used a page builder, then you’ll be fine.
Does this plugin work with custom post types?
It depends. The auto-insertion will only work with normal WordPress posts and pages, and not custom post types. However, using shortcodes to manually insert product boxes will work with custom post types.
How does the AI decide where to place products?
The AI analyzes your content’s context, identifies product-relevant sections, and places affiliate boxes where they naturally fit the reader’s intent, like mentioning a tool, recommending a resource, or discussing a product category.
Can I manually insert product boxes using shortcodes?
Yes. The WP Wolfborn Loot plugin allows you to chose from three product box styles: small, medium, and large. You can then insert them using shortcodes anywhere in your blog posts.
I already use AFFI and AAWP shortcodes. Can this plugin help me?
Absolutely! Our plugin has a shortcode mapping feature which dynamically replaces their boxes with our boxes. Note that some features available in their boxes might not be available in our boxes (e.g., price display, multiple merchants, etc). But every competitor box can be replaced with our boxes dynamically.
Can I customize how the product boxes look?
Absolutely. Choose from multiple layouts (small boxes, wide boxes, and large boxes), customize colors to match your brand, edit button text, and control exactly how products display on your site.
Can I monetize traffic from multiple Amazon marketplaces?
Amazon has 16 marketplaces, and this plugin connects to one marketplace at a time. However, if you set up Amazon OneLink through your Amazon Associates dashboard, the plugin works seamlessly with it. When a visitor clicks your affiliate link, Amazon OneLink automatically redirects them to whichever marketplace is their home marketplace and has the relevant product available. This means you earn commissions from all of your connected marketplaces, not just the one configured in the plugin.
